ChatGPT for drafting and briefings
We design workflows for ChatGPT's drafting and briefings, with apps for connected data and scheduled tasks where your account is eligible. You use your own ChatGPT account.
What we use ChatGPT for
iSystematic uses ChatGPT for drafting and briefings, and for scheduled tasks where your account is eligible.
In our workflows that means searching approved files for sourced business summaries, briefings and supported monitoring, drafts, triage, onboarding and reminders, and the memo step of a research memo.
Launch workflows that lead with ChatGPT
All eight launch workflows are designed for ChatGPT. Designed for is not the same as verified on: no workflow has yet passed the test checklist on ChatGPT.
- W01 Daily Briefing: ChatGPT or Claude; a scheduled briefing only after verification
- W02 Inbox Triage and Draft Replies: Claude or ChatGPT
- W03 Approved FAQ Assistant: ChatGPT or Claude
- W10 Business Profile Builder: ChatGPT or Claude
- W11 Lead Intake and Next-Step Draft: ChatGPT or Claude
- W12 Client Onboarding: ChatGPT or Claude
- W16 Invoice Reminder Preparation: ChatGPT or Claude
- W20 Research to Decision Memo: ChatGPT or Claude writes the memo, after research in Perplexity and comparison in Claude
Features we rely on
We rely on two ChatGPT features, each linked to OpenAI's own documentation and checked 9 October 2026. Features depend on your account, plan, region and administrator settings. We recheck these notes at every release and at least quarterly, including against the ChatGPT release notes.
| Feature | What we use it for | Vendor documentation | Checked |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apps (connected data) | Searching approved files and producing sourced business summaries | OpenAI Academy: Apps | 9 October 2026 |
| Scheduled tasks | Briefings and supported monitoring, where your account is eligible | OpenAI: Tasks in ChatGPT | 9 October 2026 |
Cautions
ChatGPT's apps and scheduled tasks come with limits set by OpenAI and by your organisation.
- GPTs are not supported in scheduled tasks, per OpenAI's current documentation.
- Account, event and feature restrictions apply to scheduled tasks.
- Your organisation controls which apps are available.
- A schedule does not imply event triggers, and a connector that can read does not imply it can write.
What we do not rely on ChatGPT for
We do not rely on ChatGPT for five things.
- GPTs inside scheduled tasks: OpenAI's current documentation says they are not supported.
- Event triggers we have not checked: a schedule does not imply them.
- Finished workflows from examples: the OpenAI Academy examples are examples, not full deployed workflows.
- Being the record: your calendar, CRM, accounting and document stores stay the system of record.
- Passing work to another assistant: the handoff is manual by default.
Your account, not ours
iSystematic is independent of OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity and xAI; customers use their own accounts.
We set workflows up with you in your own ChatGPT account; we do not resell ChatGPT.
