The assistants we design workflows for
iSystematic designs workflows for Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Grok. You use your own account, every feature we rely on links to the vendor's documentation, and every note is dated.
What each assistant is used for
iSystematic uses Perplexity for research, Claude, ChatGPT and Grok for drafting and structure, and connected actions only where an assistant supports them. The handoff between assistants is manual by default: you carry the work from one to the next, unless a tested custom integration provides the handoff.
Research: Perplexity
Current sources, links and comparisons, as in the research step of W20 Research to Decision Memo.
Draft and structure: Claude, ChatGPT, Grok
Briefings, triage, drafts, memos, onboarding and reminders.
Act, only where supported
Connectors and apps on each assistant, scoped and with your approval; scheduled tasks only where verified (level S); custom integrations (level X).
The rules for every platform claim
Every platform claim on this site follows six rules.
- Every feature we mention links to the vendor's own documentation.
- Every platform note is dated, and rechecked at every release and at least quarterly.
- Features depend on your account, plan, region and administrator settings.
- A connector that can read does not imply it can write, and a schedule does not imply event triggers.
- You use your own accounts. iSystematic is independent of OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity and xAI.
- No n8n, Make, Zapier or similar orchestration tools.
Platform matrix
The matrix shows only what the vendors document, checked on 9 October 2026.
| Platform | Role in our workflows | Features relied on | Checked | Caution |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Claude | Drafting, structuring and comparison; Skills for reusable workflows | Connectors, plugins, Skills and the directory | 9 October 2026, against Anthropic's documentation | Administrators may block writes; permissions inherit the access of the connected service |
| ChatGPT | Drafting and briefings; scheduled tasks where eligible | Apps for connected data, scheduled tasks | 9 October 2026, against OpenAI's documentation | GPTs are not supported in scheduled tasks, per OpenAI's current documentation |
| Perplexity | Research lead: current sources and links | Native research with citations | 9 October 2026, against Perplexity's documentation | A citation is a lead to inspect, not proof |
Designed for is not the same as verified on: no workflow has yet passed the test checklist on any platform. Other assistants are listed only after the same verification.
The platform pages
Each platform page sets out what we use it for, the workflows that lead with it, the features we rely on and what we do not rely on it for.
Where to go next
Workflows
iSystematic workflows run in your own Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity or Grok account: a free card first, then a pack, a setup call and monthly care if needed.
